It is a pleasure to recognise Tulgeen on the opening of its new Eden centre.

This new centre is a clear statement of commitment to the people of Eden and the broader Far South Coast—bringing support, dignity and opportunity closer to where people live.

For many years, Tulgeen has played a vital role in our region, working alongside individuals, families and the community to provide practical support and genuine pathways to participation. The opening of the Eden centre strengthens that work. It improves local access to services, reduces barriers for people who may already be doing it tough, and helps ensure no one is left behind simply because of where they live.

The centre reflects a set of values our community shares: inclusion, respect and a belief that everyone deserves the chance to live with independence and purpose. It creates local jobs and deepens Tulgeen’s connection with the Eden community.
