I recognise the remarkable contribution of one of Catalina Golf Club’s most valued team members, Wayne Gregory, who has dedicated 40 years to the greenkeeping profession at the Club.

Wayne started work at the Catalina Golf Club on 3 April 1986, and over the decades has become an integral part of the Club’s identity and success.

Through his hard work, commitment, and passion for the profession, Wayne has progressed to the position of Second-in-Charge. In this role, he has not only helped maintain the high standard of Catalina Club Golf Course and has also played a vital part in shaping the culture of our grounds team. His extensive knowledge, steady leadership, and willingness to share his expertise have made him a trusted mentor to generations of staff.

Wayne’s contribution extends beyond day-to-day duties; his dedication has supported the enjoyment of countless members and visitors and has helped strengthen the Club’s reputation within the broader golfing community. His loyalty and service over four decades is an outstanding achievement and one that deserves special recognition.
