Carolyn McColl has dedicated more than 40 years of outstanding volunteer service to supporting people across the Bega Valley and NSW. Through her leadership, compassion and unwavering commitment to others, she has made a profound and lasting contribution to her community.

Carolyn began volunteering with Meals on Wheels in Pambula-Merimbula in 1983 and has remained actively involved ever since. She played a key leadership role in the amalgamation of nine local Meals on Wheels services to create the Bega Valley Meals on Wheels Co-operative, helping strengthen and sustain essential support services for older Australians. Her contribution extends beyond the local level, and she currently serves as Chairperson of Meals on Wheels NSW.

In addition to her work with Meals on Wheels, Carolyn has devoted more than two decades to supporting veterans through local RSL programs, social support initiatives and community advocacy. Her efforts have helped ensure veterans remain connected, supported and valued within their communities.

Carolyn has also made a significant contribution through the Country Women's Association, championing the wellbeing of regional communities and supporting those in need.

Awarded the NSW ANZAC of the Year Medal in 2008, Carolyn continues to serve with humility and dedication.
